SCHATTNER, Marcel A Holocaust survivor. With dignity, on Monday, March 5, 2012, with his loving children by his side. Beloved husband of the late Sandra Barrer, and Mollie Shulman Beer. Adored father and father-in-law of Dr. Ariah and Hadassa Schattner, and Franceen Schattner. Proud Zaida of Eliezer Dov, Yacov Meir, Daniel Chaim and Sarah Michal. Loving cousin of Herta. Dear brother-in-law of Gerri Barrer and Michael Thaler, and uncle of Lea. He will be remembered by Francine and Michael Zuckerman, Marshal Zuckerman, and by his cousins and many friends. Special thanks to Drs. Zigman and Hackett for their care and compassion. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W., on Tuesday, March 6 at 3:00 p.m. Burial at the Zichron Kedoshim Congregation Cemetery, Beth Israel and Samuel Section, de la Savane.
