FARBER, Abe It is with profound sadness that the family of Abe Farber announces his passing on Monday, January 6, 2014. Beloved husband of Shirley Sager. Loving and devoted father and father-in-law of Renee and the late Dr. Avie Rapoport of Ottawa, Dr. Jeffrey Farber and Barbara Kader Farber of Ottawa, Paul Farber of Boston, and Maura Farber. Cherished "Zaida" of Drs. Melissa and Danny Berlin, Samantha Rapoport; Melanie and Minh Tran, Dr. Allison Farber, Brandon Farber; Edward and Jacob Farber. Loving great-grandfather of Kayla Farber Tran; Rachel and Ethan Berlin. Brother and brother-in-law of the late Ida and the late Sydney Grossner, uncle of Clifford Grossner and Gina Grossner. There are no words to express how much he will be missed by his family and many devoted friends. A special thank you to the wonderful doctors and staff of the Emergency and Neurology floors at the Jewish General Hospital for their exceptional care and devotion. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W., on Thursday, January 9 at 2 p.m. Burial at the Zichron Kedoshim Congregation Cemetery, Beth Israel and Samuel Section, de la Savane.
