FREGER, Jack On Wednesday, July 23, 2014, at the age of sixty-nine. Devoted husband of Elaine Segal. Dear father and father-in-law of Jamie and Jocelyn, and Rhiana, and grandfather of Liam and Hamish, all of Brisbane, Australia. Beloved brother and brother-in-law of Chana (Anna) and Isaie Sweibel, Toby and the late Alex Litwin of New York, Rose and the late Sam Freger, and brother-in-law of Michael and Hedy Segal of Ottawa, Rhona and the late Paul Kocsis of Calgary. Loving uncle of Sydney and Tronny Sweibel, the late Simon Sweibel; Sam and Lorraine Litwin, Dr. Laurie Litwin, and the late Dr. Edward Litwin all of New York; Stewart and Charlene Freger, Paul and Pamela Freger, Elliot and Barbara Freger, and great-uncle of Mitchell, Carina and Morgan Sweibel; Brandon, Michelle and Brittany Freger; Noah, Cara and Adyson Samantha Freger. Jack will be fondly remembered by Vandra Freger, and by his family and many friends. Special thanks to Dr. Jeffrey Segal for his care and compassion. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W., on Thursday, July 24 at 3:00 p.m. Burial at the Zichron Kedoshim Congregation Cemetery, Beth Israel and Samuel Section, de la Savane.
