UNGAR, Viola (nee Ibolya Schwartz). March 14, 1920 - March 6, 2003. A stubborn survivor of the Nazi Extermination Program. She will be remembered for the reverence she bore for her parents and lost family, and for the love she gave the family she started after the war. Beloved wife of the late Bela. She leaves behind her children Suzanne and Andras (Kathryn Gill), her sister Giselle Foti (the late Andrew), and her niece Sandi Foti Tanner (Rob, and great niece Michelle Tanner). She touched many lives and will be fondly remembered by relatives and many friends. The family wishes to thank the doctors, nurses and staff of the palliative care unit at St. Mary's Hospital. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon West, on Sunday, March 9 at 1:45 p.m. Burial at the Independent Hebrew Sick Section, De La Savane. |
