GLOBUS, Jack Hyman. Peacefully, on Wednesday, August 15, 2007, with his loving family by his side, in his ninety-third year. Devoted husband and best friend of the late Faye Cohen. Beloved father and father-in-law of Roslyn and Gil Kaplansky, Eleanor and John Sullivan, the late Nina and the late Stanley Schwartz. Loving Zaidie of Launy, Annissa, Erin and Ryan. Son of the late Sarah and the late Isaac Globus. Cherished brother and brother-in-law of Jean Guttman (the late Sam), the late Anna Globus Hill (Harry), the late Saul Globus (the late Mildred), and the late Leo Globus (the late Helen). Dear brother-in-law of Rita and Maurice Ryant of Ottawa, Rachel and the late Abie Cohen of Israel, the late Celia and the late Jack Rudner. He will also be greatly missed by his nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Jack was deeply devoted to his family, first and foremost. A generous, well-respected man, who had a wonderful sense of humour, he was also a successful entrepreneur and inventor. We will remember him and love him always. The family wishes to thank Dee Davidson and her staff for their compassionate and excellent care.
