ENGLANDER, Alice (Halina) (nee Teich). Born in Krakow, Poland April 25, 1921 and passed away peacefully in Calgary on Saturday, June 4, 2005. Beloved wife of the late Jack Englander. Mother of Betty Englander and Helene Kalmanovitch (Norman). Devoted grandmother of Daniel Kalmanovitch and Margot Kalmanovitch of Sydney, Australia. Cherished sister of Marietta Havas and the late Paul Havas. Beloved aunt and great-aunt of Henry Havas (Amira) and Sean, Paul, Ron and the late Gil; and Richard Havas (Midori) and Alexander and Robert. She will be sadly missed and remembered by her many long-time friends who were a very important part of her life. Graveside service on Wednesday, June 8 at 1 p.m. at the New Memorial Cemetery, de la Savane.
