GALAMBOS, Aniko (Gotzler). 1948-2006. Passed away peacefully after a long and courageous battle with breast cancer on May 21, 2006. Devoted and cherished mother of Johnny (Wendy) and Jillian-Aliza (fiancee of Yerachmiel), beloved wife of George, loving daughter of Livia and the late Alex Gotzler. A successful former executive at Bell Canada and brilliant published writer, she touched the lives of all who knew her, giving hope and inspiration to many cancer patients. She will be greatly missed by cousins Tom and Andy Boczan of Los Angeles and Andras and Gyorgy Gabanyi of Hungary and their respective families and Pat, Pandy and Paul Ballard as well as numerous friends in Canada, United States, Switzerland and Hungary. The family wishes to thank Drs. Adrian Langleben, Harold Zackon, Aurelian Cristache and Christian Sirois, the Oncology nursing staff of the St. Mary's Hospital, Victor Sumbly, Veronica DeMercur and private nurse Liezel for their devotion and care. Special thanks to Rabbi and Nachama New and the MTC Congregation for their constant support and devotion. We love you and will remember you forever. Funeral services were held at 935 Beaumont, T.M.R. on Monday, May 22 at 11:45 a.m. Shiva from 2 to 6 p.m and evening services at 8 p.m. at 477 Dufferin Road, Hampstead. The family would greatly appreciate any donations to be made to the Oncology department of the St. Mary's Hospital or to the Montreal Torah Center. |
