RUBIN, Mildred (Minnie) nee Kugelmass. Peacefully in her eighty-ninth year on Friday, June 23, 2006. Wife of the late Max. Most loved and devoted mother and mother-in-law of Ferne (Faygie) and the late Seymour Greenberg, Stanley Rubin and Laura (Lori) and Dr. Martin Wise. Cherished Bubbie of Heather and Stephen Seller of Boston, Shari and Zev Blitzer, Adam, Shai and Kate. Great-grandmother of Tyler, Elle and Jayden. Dearest sister and sister-in-law of Dr. David and the late Toby Elkin, Trudy and the late Sam Kugelmass, Mary and the late Dr. Harvey Kugelmass, and predeceased by her other siblings, Albert, Ruth and Max Weiser, Sarah and Louis Cons, Pearl Kugelmass, Ettye and Harry Fleming, Benny and Ida Kugelmass, Dougie and Fanny Kugelmass, Bess and Max Laxer. Sister-in-law of the late Issie and the late Jennie Rubin, the late Allan Rubin. She will be fondly remembered by her many nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank her caregiver Fania and the staff of the Jewish Eldercare Centre for their care and compassion.
