ABADI-DELBURGO, Laura (nee Dichy). Peacefully, with courage and dignity, surrounded by her adoring family, on Tuesday, March 18, 2008. Beloved wife of the late Haim Abadi and the late Isaac Delburgo. Loving and devoted mother and mother-in-law of Albert and Arlette Abadi, Charles and Chella Abadi, the late Lilliane Abadi. Cherished "Teta" of Audrey and Nick Simonis, Gilles and Noreen Abadi, Laure and Hal Garnick, Milene and Greg Etingin. Proud great-grandmother of Daniel, Jonathan, Joshua, Rebecca, Amanda, Evan, Alex, Steven, Albert, and Jonah. Dear sister of Carmen Tayar, Chella Baruch, the late Raphoul, the late Max, the late Linda. Special aunt of Carlos and Luisa Delburgo, Albert Delburgo. Great-aunt of Florelle Delburgo, Ilana and David Delburgo. She will be sadly missed by her other nieces, nephews and their families in Toronto and Israel. Laura was a special lady whose memory will remain in the hearts of all those whose lives she touched. The family would like to thank the wonderful staff of the Jewish Eldercare Centre (Hospital of Hope) for their exceptional care and compassion.
