HABERT, Fortunee (nee Mehdaoui) Peacefully, surrounded by her family, on Saturday, January 24, 2015. Beloved wife of the late Salomon. Devoted mother and mother-in-law of Bert and Rhoda, Adele and Frank Gillman. Cherished grandmother of Lauren and Jessi, Julie and Roshitha. Dearest great-grandmother of Jayden and Hailey. Daughter of the late Reuben and the late Adele Mehdaoui. Predeceased by her brothers, Ize, Joe and Victor. She will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by her nieces, nephews, family and friends. The family would like to thank her amazing caregivers, Nelly and Zeny, who cared for her as though she was part of their family. Special thanks to the dedicated 4th floor staff of Maimonides Geriatric Centre. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W., on Tuesday, January 27 at 11:30 a.m. Burial at the Memorial Park Cemetery, de la Savane.
