DANIEL SOMMER Died peacefully Wednesday, March 26, 2008 with family and friends at his side. Those who were with him in his final months will never forget his valiant courage in fighting a terminal illness. His iron will, good humour and determination were an inspiration to us all, and a reminder that life is worth living. Indeed, a wonderful blessing during hard times was the arrival of his new grandson Theo, with whom Dad played with boundless joy. He is survived by his son David and daughter Nathalie, seven brothers and sisters, and many relatives around the world. We thank Myrna George and the wonderful staff at the Montreal Neurological Hospital. Funeral service from Paperman and Sons, 3888 Jean-Talon W., on Friday March 28, at 11 am. Burial at the Memorial Park Cemetery, de la Savane. Shiva at his home. |
