RAPPAPORT, Frances (nee Atkin) Our family lost its cherished Matriarch suddenly, unexpectedly, and all too soon, on Tuesday, November 3, 2015. Treasured daughter of the late Issie Atkin and the late Bertha Miller. A devoted wife, she is finally now reunited with her soulmate, the late Lionel (Lyon Judah) Rappaport. Most beloved and respected mother and mother-in-law of Derek and Sharon, Jamie and Marlena, Buddy and Charna. Adored and adoring Bubbie of Sam, Gabby, Jonah, Jake, Matthew, Brody, Liv, Harlow, and Maddie. Dearest sister and sister-in-law of Evelyn and Marvin Lipstein, the late Judy and the late Leslie Simon; and sister-in-law of the late Nat and the late Claire Rappaport, Vicky and Leo Steinberg. Frances will be greatly missed by her nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, cousins, and countless friends. Very special thanks to Cora and Quizlaine for their devoted care. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean-Talon St. W. on Sunday, November 8 at 10:00 a.m. Burial at the New Memorial Park Section, Baron de Hirsch Cemetery, de la Savane. Shiva at her sister Evelyn's home on Sunday following burial and from 7 to 9 p.m., Monday through Wednesday evening, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. daily.
