LIFSHITZ, Dov After a lengthy illness, surrounded by his loving family, on Friday, January 7, 2011. Beloved husband and best friend of Lily for fifty-seven years. Adored father and father-in-law of Esther and Louis Silver. Proud and loving Grandpa of Lauren and Jennifer. Predeceased by his father, Aaron and sister, Esther - who both perished in the Holocaust; and by his mother, Katya and brother, Yaacov. Dov will be sadly missed by his family in Israel and Montreal, and by his many dear friends. The family wishes to acknowledge with deepest gratitude Dov's caregivers, April and Nina, for their respectful care and compassion. Funeral service took place on Sunday, January 9.
