GOODMAN, Elizabeth (nee Diamond) Peacefully on Sunday, May 24 2015, with her loving family by her side. Devoted wife of Bernard Goodman for fifty-three years. Loving mother and mother-in-law of Joy Goodman and Nadia Guarneri, Jonathon Goodman and Cathy Shamberger, Michelle Goodman and Steven Eisenberg. Best Bubby in the world of Hannah, Noah, Ben, Sophie, Jacob and Abigail. Dear sister and sister-in-law of Judy and the late Rabbi James Diamond of Princeton, NJ., Gary and Ella Diamond of Toronto. Daughter of the late Myer Diamond and the late Eva Posner; daughter-in-law of the late George and the late Gertie Goodman. Beth will be sadly missed by her nieces, nephews, many cousins and friends. The family would like to thank the medical and support staff of the Palliative Care Unit at the Jewish General Hospital. Special recognition and thanks to Dr. Wilson Miller, Dr. Jennifer Friedmann, and Dr. Michael Dwokind. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean-Talon St. W. on Tuesday, May 26 at 2:30 p.m. Burial at the Baron de Hirsch Cemetery, de la Savane.
