GORDON, Dr. Philip Surrounded by his loving family, on Wednesday, April 11, 2018. Beloved husband of Rosalie for forty-eight years. Loving father and father-in-law of Laurel and Paul (Dymond), Elliot and Dayle. Proud Zaidie of Ben, Ryan, and Maryn. Dear brother and brother-in-law of Earl and the late Ellie; and brother-in-law of Gordon and Binnie, and Mel and Elaine Druker. He will be greatly missed by his nieces, nephews, family, friends, colleagues and all who knew him. Special thanks to all the doctors, nurses and staff at the Jewish General Hospital. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean-Talon St. W., on Friday, April 13 at 12:00 noon. Burial at the Memorial Park Cemetery, de la Savane. Shiva at his home, from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. daily. Donations in his memory may be made to the "Dr. Philip H. Gordon Memorial Fund of the Division of Colon and Rectal Surgery" c/o the Jewish General Hospital Foundation, 514-340-8251. He was a surgeon, professor and mentor at McGill University and the Jewish General Hospital. Phil made a difference in the lives of so many. |
