LABELL, Howard Peacefully, after a courageous battle, surrounded by his loving family, on Tuesday, March 28, 2017. Beloved husband of Ginette Branchaud. Devoted father of Mitchell and Jason. Cherished Zaida of Max Harrison Schwartz-Labell and Jackson Labell-Nevard. Dear brother and brother-in-law of Ronnie and Mary, and the late Rhoda; and brother-in-law of Lucie Branchaud and Gilles Lepage, Jocelyne Branchaud and Johnny Rioux; Ann and Bernard Breslow, Jack and Natalie Voldar, the late Bill and the late Sally Voldar. Former husband of Libby Volodarsky Labell. He will be sadly mourned by his nieces, nephews, family and friends. Special thanks to Drs. Raghu Rajan and Wassim Kassouf, to Julie Gelinas, and to the staff of Palliative Care Unit at the Royal Victoria Hospital for their care and devotion. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W., on Thursday, March 30 at 1:00 p.m. Burial at the Memorial Park Cemetery, de la Savane. Shiva at his home, through Sunday evening.
