PACKER, Ruth (Risa) Peacefully, on Monday, October 29, 2012 with her family by her side. Beloved daughter of the late Saul and the late Bella Packer. Precious and loving sister of Paul (Joan), Beatrice, and the late Dr. Miriam (Mossy). Loving aunt of Morrie (Donna), Karen (Brian), Robert (Karen). Fondly remembered by their children; Shane, Josh, Noah, Emily, Cole, and Brooke. Ruth was a respected and devoted social worker who was loved by all who had the good fortune to know her. A very special thank you to the doctors, nurses and staff of the Palliative Care Unit at the Lachine General Hospital for their exceptional care and compassion. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W., on Thursday, November 1, at 1:00 p.m. Burial at the New Memorial Park Cemetery, de la Savane.
