ARONOFF, Leon Peacefully, at home on Tuesday, September 10, 2013 surrounded by his adoring children. Beloved husband of the late Anne Krasnitz for sixty-five years. Loving father and father-in-law of Michael Aronoff, Louise Aronoff and Michael Mulhall, Carol Aronoff, Eric Aronoff and Jo Marksfield. Cherished grandfather of Ayase Kay, Philana Dollin and Melinda Lively, Sandra Dollin and Gregory Bulte, Charna Aronoff-Zucker and Buddy Rappaport, Alissa, and Alex Aronoff. Proud great-grandfather of Neta, Jake, and Brody. Predeceased by his siblings Jack, and Al. Dear friend and brother-in-law of Saul and the late Vivian Rudinsky. Leon will be lovingly remembered by Howard and Kenny Rudinsky and their families, Ralph Schwartz, Mona Roshke and their familes, his nephews, nieces, family and dear friends. The family would like to thank his wonderful and loving caregivers, Leah, Jessica, Annalyn, and Lourdes. Special thanks to Dr. Ellman for her care and kindness. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W., on Thursday, September 12, at 2:30 p.m. Burial at the Memorial Park Cemetery, de la Savane. Shiva at his home. Due to the advent of Yom Kippur, Shiva ends on Friday at 12:00 noon.
