BLAUKOPF, Lionel It is with profound sadness that the family of Lionel Blaukopf announces his passing on Thursday, September 8, 2016. Beloved husband of Phyllis Bernstein for sixty-one years. Devoted father and father-in-law of Shari Blaukopf and Spyro Rondos, Heidi Blaukopf and Mark Goldman. Cherished grandfather of Kylie and Alexandra Goldman, Gabriel and Charles Rondos. Brother and brother-in-law of the late Irving and the late Verna Blaukopf. Dear brother-in-law of Herman and Marilyn Schneider. Lionel will be greatly missed by his loving family and friends. Special thanks to Dr. Richard Sheppard and to the caring staff at the West Island Palliative Care Residence. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean-Talon St. W., on Friday, September 9 at 1:00 p.m. Burial at Memorial Park Cemetery, de la Savane. Shiva at his daughter Heidi's home through Monday evening.
