WOLKOWICZ, Aleksander (Alek) A Holocaust survivor. Peacefully, on Saturday, October 14, 2017. Beloved husband of Ruth Kerkofsky for sixty-two years. Devoted father and father-in-law of Marsha and Avrumel Pepper of Lakewood, NJ; Dr. Joel and Marla Wolkowicz of Plattsburgh, NY; Dr. Jeffrey and Fay Wolkowicz of Boca Raton, FL; and Brian Wolkowicz. Cherished Zaidie to eighteen grandchildren and great-grandfather of over thirty great-grandchildren. Predeceased by his siblings and their spouses, Jacob and Hella, Israel and Rachel, Abraham and Simy. Predeceased by his other siblings and parents who perished in the Holocaust. He will be sadly missed by his nieces, nephews, family and friends. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W., on Monday, October 16 at 2:00 p.m. Burial at the Memorial Park Cemetery, de la Savane.
