MYERS, Michael Maurice Peacefully, after a long struggle with Parkinson's Disease, on Wednesday, December 16, 2009. Predeceased by his beloved wife, Barbara Yapp. Survived by his sons, David, Peter (Leslie) and Stephen. Grandpa Michael of Keith and Eric. He will be fondly remembered and sadly missed by his brother, Martin (Valerie), and sister, Pauline (the late Abe Simons), both of England, as well as his many nieces, nephews, family and friends. Michael grew up in England and married Barbara after which they moved to Montreal, Quebec, in 1954. It was here that Michael built his business, Liquitrol, Ltee. Most of all, he will be remembered for his light-hearted approach, his desire to entertain and his willingness to help a neighbour. A good game of pool was always to be had at 4 Cadman Ave. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W., on Sunday, December 20 at 12:15 p.m. Burial at the King George Benefit Association Cemetery, de la Savane.
