SCHAFER, Lou On Wednesday, February 26, 2014. Beloved and wonderful husband of Eve (nee Vineberg). Loving and fantastic father and father-in-law of Steve and Melissa, Clifford, Sheldon and Kate, Cindy and Gabe. Cherished grandfather of Benjamin, and Noah; Abby, and Audrey; Sam, and Jesse. Predeceased by his siblings and their spouses Abraham and Anne Schafer, Rose and Ben Neidik, Joe and Connie Schafer. Brother-in-law of Leo and the late Jean Schwartz, the late Rose and the late Jack Ephraim, and the late Louis Vineberg. Special thanks to the amazing staff, from orderlies to department heads, of the Haemodialysis Unit, Internal Medicine, 6 West, and many many others at the Jewish General Hospital. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W., on Sunday, March 2 at 1:00 p.m. Burial at the King George Benefit Association Cemetery, de la Savane.
