WALD, Hyman (Hy) Peacefully, on Monday, November 13, 2017, in his ninety-sixth year. Beloved husband of Estelle Fleischer for seventy years. Treasured father and father-in-law of Sheldon and Estelle Wald, and Charlene Wald. Loving Zaidie of Jamie Wald and Rebecca Schneider, Jessie and David Rauchwerger; Beverley Shimansky and Jason Ades, and Michaela Shimansky. Proud Great-Zaidie of Daniel, Mitchell, Isla, and Mia. Dear brother and brother-in-law of Ben and the late Bunny and the late Rose Wald. Predeceased by his sister, Libby Caplan. Proud uncle of Paula and Steven Rembach, and Joel Wald. Hy will be deeply missed by his family and all who knew him. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W., on Thursday, November 16 at 11:00 a.m. Burial at the King George Benefit Association Cemetery, de la Savane. Shiva at his daughter's home, from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. daily.
