KARPMAN, Ruth (nee Cooperstone) Peacefully, surrounded by her family, on Sunday, July 25, 2010. Beloved wife of Sam. Devoted mother and mother-in-law of Alan and Susan, Ronnie and Fern Karpman. Cherished grandmother of Michelle, Erin, Matthew and Stevie Karpman, Harley and Casey Cooper. Dear sister and sister-in-law of Jack and Leba Cooperstone, and sister-in-law of Jack Karpman, Ben and Roslyn Karpman, Marsha and Marty Kaufman. Ruth will be sadly missed by her nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Special thanks to Dr. Martin Chasen and Dr. Peter Metrakos. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W., on Wednesday, July 28 at 12 noon. Burial at the King George Cemetery, de la Savane. Shiva at her home, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. daily.
