ARBEITER, Bertha (nee Podzeba) Peacefully, in Toronto, on Friday, May 3, 2013, at the age of ninety-three. Beloved wife of the late Samuel Arbeiter. Much-loved mother and mother-in-law of Ruby and Annie, Etta and Frank Jacobs. Treasured grandmother of Jason and Tamara, Richard and Trent, Cindi and Danny, Elliot, and Tamara. Proud great-grandmother of seven. The family wishes to thank all the caring staff of Apotex 4 at Baycrest, and her caregiver, Cislyn Thompson. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W., on Monday, May 6 at 12 noon. Burial at the Montreal Workers' Circle Cemetery, de la Savane. Shiva at 217 Finchley Road, Hampstead, after 2 p.m. daily. Services at Adath Israel Congregation.
