LEVINE, Hela (nee Henechowitz) A Holocaust survivor, on Tuesday, April 30, 2013 in her ninety-seventh year. Wife of the late Ber Levine. Devoted mother and mother-in-law of Joe and Bea, Abe and Maureen. Cherished Bubby of Jason and Brenda Levine, Jenny and Jason Shinder, David Levine, Adam and Lisa Levine; Victoria Levine, and Philip Levine. Special great-Bubby of Abi, Jacob, and Isaac Levine; Jonah, Emily, and Jordan Shinder; Aiden, and Austin Levine. Predeceased by her parents and by her sister, who perished in the Holocaust. Special thanks to her wonderful caregivers at the Beit Chai Seniors Residence for their care and devotion. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean-Talon St. W., on Friday, May 3 at 12:00 noon. Burial at the Montreal Workers' Association Cemetery, de la Savane. Shiva at her son Joe's home.
