BACKLER, Murray Peacefully, on Tuesday, August 14, 2012. Beloved husband of Rhony Brenner, and the late Joy Spears. Predeceased by his siblings Irving, Sarah Gersowitz, Sammy, Joey, Eddie, Herman, and Leah Selick. Survived by many nieces and nephews. Special thanks to the incredible staff of Internal Medicine, 15th floor, at the Montreal General Hospital and to the doctors, nurses and staff of Palliative Care at Mount Sinai Hospital for their care and compassion. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W., on Thursday, August 16, at 12:00 noon. Burial at the Machziki Hadas Congregation Cemetery, de la Savane. Shiva at his home.
