FOX, Esther (nee Westernoff). Surrounded by her loving family on Wednesday, September 26, 2007. Beloved wife of Sydney Fox. Devoted mother and mother-in-law of Howard, Pamela and Clifford Singer, Arnold, Martin and Shelley, Marla and Robert Hirscheimer. Cherished Grandma of Mark, Amanda, Meaghan and Jillian Singer; Joshua and Seth Fox; Jonathan and Carly Fox; Justin, Lindsay and Jennifer Hirscheimer. Dear sister and sister-in-law of Mary Weiner, Sarah and the late Lou Simon, the late Nathan Westernoff, the late Saul Westernoff, the late Minnie Westernoff and sister-in-law of Tillie and Sam Gallet, the late Esther and the late Abie Yablonsky, the late Hy and the late Sylvia Fox. Sadly mourned by her family and friends. Special thanks to Drs. Bernard Lapointe, Harvey Kreisman, Neil Macdonald, Andre Lisbona, Joseph Portnoy and the nurses and staff of the 7th floor, Segal Cancer Centre, Jewish General Hospital for their care and compassion. Funeral service from Paperman and Sons 3888 Jean Talon W. on Sunday, September 30 at 3 p.m. Burial at the Machziki Hadas Congregation Cemetery, De La Savane. Shiva private. Due to the festival of Succot shiva commences Saturday evening October 6 through Thursday morning October 11.
