HEIMLICH, Sheila (nee Heimlich). Courageously, in her sixty-ninth year, on Friday, August 22, 2008. Beloved wife and best friend for forty-eight years of Norman Heimlich. Predeceased by her parents Herman and Mary Heimlich and by her brother Simon Heimlich. Cherished and loving mother and mother-in-law of Michael and Galit Heimlich, Daniel Heimlich, Tamara Heimlich and Steven Mermelstein. Devoted Bubby of Ethan, Dalia, Yael, Ariela and Ilana. The family would like to express its heartfelt thanks to Lani and Edith for their kindness and compassion. The family wishes to thank the doctors, nurses and staff of the Jewish General and Mount Sinai Hospitals for their exceptional care. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W. on Monday, August 25 at 1 p.m. Burial at the Machziki Hadas Congregation Cemetery, de la Savane.
