CHAIT, Sam On Saturday, April 3, 2010. Beloved husband of the late Rachel. Loving father and father-in-law of Zelda Sokoloff, Rose and Lorne Glance, Kenny and Barbara. Cherished and devoted Zaidie of Dina and Ken Sabourin, Cheryl and Martin Novack, Jody and the late Gary Lackstein, Jay and Virginia Sokoloff, Taryn and Dave Valela, Robin and Alex De Vergori. Great-grandfather of fourteen. Dear brother and brother-in-law of Anne and the late Solly Chait, Saul and the late Evelyn Chait, Dora and the late Ben Viner, the late Fanny and the late Morris Feldman, the late Louis and the late Sarah Chait. Sam will be lovingly remembered by his family and friends. Special thank you to Ellen Tissenbaum, Rabbi Herschel Schecter, and Joy, his devoted caregiver, for their care, kindness and devotion, and to the Cummings Jewish Centre for Seniors Orchestra. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W., on Wednesday, April 7 at 2:30 p.m. Burial at the Machziki Hadas Congregation Cemetery, de la Savane.
