HOJDA, Fryderyka (nee Fuchs) A Holocaust Survivor. It is with profound sadness and grieving hearts that we announce the passing of Fryderyka on Friday, January 25, 2013. Beloved wife of the late Sam. Devoted mother and mother-in-law of Mark, Shelley and Michael Liverman. Cherished Grandma of David, Melissa and Joshua Gitlin. Proud great-Grandma of Noah Samuel. Daughter of the late Samuel and the late Gisella. Predeceased by her siblings and their spouses; Barbara and Morgan Tannyan, Henry and Anna Fuchs, Hela and Bolek Strasser, Zenek Fuchs, and Romek Fuchs. Fryderyka will be sadly missed by her nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Special thanks to her caregivers Doreen and Maria, and to the exceptional staff of 3N at Maimonides Geriatric Centre for their care, kindness and devotion. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean-Talon St. W., on Sunday, January 27 at 11:30 a.m. Burial at the Shomrim Laboker Congregation Cemetery, de la Savane.
