SHENKER, Eddy Peacefully, with dignity and courage after a brief illness, on Monday, June 11, 2012. Husband, soul-mate and best friend of Fran for forty-eight years. Proud father and father-in-law of Brian and Randee, Robert and Celia. Loving Zaidy of Josh, Adam, Isaac, Halle, and Jonathan. Survived by his caring siblings and their spouses; Bro and Steve Ornstein, Bertha and Eddie Krygier, and Jack Shenker. Eddy will be sadly missed by his nieces, nephews, colleagues and friends. He was a humble, kind and generous man who led by quiet example. He was always thoughtful and dedicated to Fran, the love of his life from the age of seventeen. His memory will always be cherished and he will be forever missed. The family wishes to thank all the dedicated and angelic medical, nursing and support staff of the Palliative Care Unit at the Jewish General Hospital. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W., on Wednesday, June 13 at 12:00 p.m. Burial at the Shomrim Laboker Congregation Cemetery, de la Savane.
