KOTT, Mabel (nee Hershenkopf) Passed away peacefully in Vancouver, BC, on Tuesday, October 18, 2011. She lived her life with a sense of joy and style that will be sorely missed. Mabel always felt her wedding was the best day of her life, and was a devoted wife for fifty-two years to the late Cecil Kott. Mabel was the loving "Mummy" of Leslie Sarah Kott, Marla Kott, and Meris and Mark Goldstein; cherished Grandma of Alissa and Richard Piasetski, and Morgan Goldstein; and sister-in-law of Rhoda Kott and Shirley Gorn. The whole family would like to express deep gratitude to Teresita, Jennifer, and all the staff at The Harry and Jeanette Weinberg Residence in Vancouver, BC, for their tireless and loving care. Funeral service in celebration of her life will be held at Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W., on Monday, October 24 at 1 pm. Burial at the Young Israel of Montreal Association Cemetery, de la Savane. The shiva will take place through Wednesday, October 26, at the Omni Hotel's Presidential Suite, 1050 Sherbrooke St. W., 30th floor.
