SHAHMOON, Mavis (nee Spieler) Peacefully, on Sunday, October 7, 2012. Wife of the late Albert Shahmoon. Beloved mother and mother-in-law of Diana and the late Fred Murad, Monica and Sam Shamash, Rebecca and Frank Daniel. Sister of the late Michael Spieler. Cherished "Grams" of Albert and Wendy Murad, Amy and John Thomas; Caroline Daniel, Melissa and Michael Asseraf. Adored and loving 'Gigi' of Freddy and Brett Murad; Emma and Leah Thomas; Abby, Zachary and Jacob Smith; Charles and Katie Assaraf. Dear aunt of Susan Spieler Leifer. Heartfelt thanks to her caregivers, Annie, Cristina, Janice, Lucille and Olive. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W., on Wednesday, October 10 at 9:45 a.m. Burial at the Young Israel of Montreal Congregation Cemetery, de la Savane.
