GRUIA, Hella (nee Marcovitz) Peacefully, at home, on Wednesday, August 16, 2017, in her ninety-second year. Devoted wife of the late Alex. Beloved mother and mother-in-law of Jessie Gruia and Murray Levine, Jackie Gruia and Lorne Gold. Cherished 'Mama Hella' of Myles, and Scott Levine; Morgan, and Madison Gold. Predeceased by her siblings and their spouses, Froim and Tina Marcovitz, Max and Liza Marcovitz, Jonas Marcovitz, Chaim and Haya Marcovitz. Sister-in-law of the late Martin and the late Jean Gruia. Hella will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by her nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews, family and friends. Special thanks to Emma, Leah, Donna, Lily and Vern. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W., on Friday, August 18 at 12:00 noon. Burial at the Young Israel of Montreal Congregation Cemetery, de la Savane. Shiva at her home.
