SCHWARTZ, Bassie (Kolodny). Peacefully on Wednesday, September 11, 2002. Beloved wife of the late Sall. Devoted mother and mother-in-law of Sidney and Anne, Fay and Gordon Goldsmith, and Lawrence. Cherished Bubby of Howard and Sharon Schwartz, Dr. Rhonda Schwartz and Michael Tessler, Jeffrey Schwartz, Mitchell, Stuart and Ronna Goldsmith. Proud great-grandmother of Brian, Lauren, Joshua, Dana, Jory, and Selina. Sister and sister-in-law of the late Jack and the late Ray Kolodny. Predeceased by family members who perished in the Holocaust. She will be greatly missed by her many nieces and nephews. The family would like to acknowledge the care given by Ann, Marva and a special thank you to Linda for her exceptional devotion. Funeral Service from Paperman and Sons, 3888 Jean Talon West, on Friday, September 13 at 11:30 a.m. Burial at the Young Israel of Montreal Cemetery, De la Savane.
