GORN, Archie. Peacefully, on Tuesday, November 4, 2008. Beloved husband of Shirley for sixty-two years. Devoted father and father-in-law of Merle and Harvey Powell, Sharon and Lawrence Krainer. Cherished Papa of Anthony and Marisa, and Mara, and Avery. Great-grandfather of Abby. Predeceased by his siblings and their spouses: Sam and Sally, Billy and Fanny, Norman and Sylvia, Max and Ann, Hyman, Rose and Eddy, Lily and Darby, Bea and Moe, and; Annie and Sam. Archie will be sadly missed by his many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Special thanks to Edward Saksznajder for his care, kindness, and devotion, and to the staff of Mount Sinai Hospital. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon Street West, on Thursday, November 6, at 2 p.m. Burial at the Young Israel of Montreal Congregation Cemetery, De la Savane.
