BRODY, Margit (Bubby) (nee Weiss) Survivor of the Holocaust. Passed away on Friday, January 2010, after celebrating her one hundred and first birthday. Predeceased by her husband Eugen Brody. Devoted mother and mother-in-law of Egon and Esther (Taran), and Judy Brody-Feig. Adored Bubby of Douglas and Kathy Brody, Renee and Alden Stein, John and Rita Brody, Eugene and Loranne Feig, Karen and Gary Tatryn, Richard and Lisa Feig, and the late George Brody. Proud great-grandmother of Gillian, Courtney and Halleigh Brody, Harley and Tyler Stein, Mark Brody, Stephanie Yip, Benjamin and Elisha Feig, Daniel and Brandon Tatryn, Thierry Bombardier, Rebecca, Nathan and Rachel Feig. She also leaves behind her niece and nephew, Kathy and Mark Vesely-Sheres and their children, Joel, Evan and Ilene Sheres, and her nephew Dani Vesely and family in Israel. She will be sadly missed by all who knew her. Margit was a very giving person, always putting others before herself. Special thanks to Eva and Kathleen for their years of care giving. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W., on Tuesday, January 5 at 1 p.m. Burial at the Young Israel of Montreal Congregation Cemetery, de la Savane.
