HEITNER, Edith (nee Shapiro) Peacefully, on Friday, March 15, 2019. Beloved wife of the late Syd. Loving mother and mother-in-law of Mark and fiancee Robin Fishbien, Robyn and Jeffrey Goldstein. Adored nana of Justin, Jeremy and Alexandra, Sean and Tracey, Lindsay; Jordan and Haley. Dear sister and sister-in-law of Sam and Marissa Shapiro, and Beverly Shapiro. Eydie will be sadly missed by her nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Special thanks to Mary-Ann, Gemma, Gloria, Jennie and Nomi for their care and kindness, as well as, the 9th floor staff at the Royal Victoria Hospital. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean-Talon St. W., on Monday, March 18 at 11:00 a.m. Burial at the Hebrew Sick Benefit Association Cemetery, de la Savane. Shiva private.
