KRELENBAUM, David After a brief and courageous battle, on Thursday, February 17, 2011. A heroic survivor of the Holocaust. Beloved husband of Chava Garnek for sixty-three years. Devoted father of Marilyn (Stewart Harris) and the late Freda. Predeceased by his parents and siblings who perished in the Holocaust. Dear brother-in-law of Hinda and the late Isaac Lerner of Israel. Loving uncle of Roni Lerner, Miri and Adam Newman, Zvia Lerner, Pnina and Zvika Rosenschein. Sadly mourned by his many friends. Heartfelt thanks to his devoted caregivers, Lani, Anna, Esther, Gina and Cynthia, and to the staff of Manoir Montefiore for their care and compassion. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W., on Sunday, February 20 at 11 a.m. Burial at the Farband Labour Zionist Organization Cemetery, de la Savane.
