YABLON, Adela (nee Goldberg) September 16, 1912 -- May 19, 2012 Wife of the late Willie Yablon, daughter of the late Shaya and Helen Goldberg, sister of Lou Goldberg and Diane Brooks, and the late Simon Goldberg and Harry Goldberg. In her 100th year, Adela Yablon passed away on May 19th, surrounded by her loving family. She leaves a beautiful legacy: her family, Isadore Yablon (Ruby), Orlando, FL, David Yablon, Montreal, Brenda Yablon, Vancouver. Survived by four grandchildren, Brian Yablon (Laurie), Portland, OR, Corrie Yablon (Patrick), Ann Arbor, MI, Jessica Frein (Mark), Austin, TX and Richard Rabkin (Talia), Toronto, ON. Survived by five great-grandchildren: Benjamin, Jonathan and Will Yablon, Ezra and Noa Rabkin, and Fiona Frein. Special thanks to her caregivers, Jean and Cynthia, and the staff of 7W at the Jewish General Hospital. Adela lived a full and rich life, and will be lovingly remembered by all who knew her. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W., on Monday, May 21at 2 p.m. Burial at the Farband Labour Zionist Cemetery, de la Savane. Shiva at Manoir Montefiore, 5885 Cavendish Blvd, Suite 812, Monday through Thursday from 2 p.m. on, and from 1 to 3 p.m. on Friday.
