KAREL, Lily (nee Babb). Peacefully,on Tuesday, July 19, 2005, after a long meaningful life. Beloved wife of the late Abe. Devoted mother of Irving and Sabina Karel, Sandra and Irving Feldman, Harriet and Ronnie Diamond. Cherished bubby of Elaine, and David Karel, Monty and Anna, Corey and Karen Eisenberg, Heidi and Sheldon Bilmes, Hilly and Erica, and Stephanie Diamond. Proud and loving great-grandmother of Kayla, Riley, Adam, Abby and Andrew. Predeceased by her dear siblings Laibel, Rabbi Avrum, and Isaac Babb, Sarah Gasoi, Mary Fish, and Yetta Robin. She will be greatly missed by her many nieces, nephews, family and friends. The family is deeply appreciative of the kindness and excellent care given by Dr. Howard Goldstein and his staff. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon West on Wednesday, July 20 at 1 p.m. Burial at the Farband Labour Zionist Cemetery, de la Savane. Shiva at 1 Wood Ave., Westmount.
