LAUFER, Jack Peacefully, in his one hundred and second year, on Wednesday, November 22, 2017. Beloved husband of Pepi Brachfeld for sixty-six years. Devoted father and father-in-law of Nathan Laufer and Judy Egett Laufer of Phoenix, Arizona, Aubey and Mary, and the late Peggy Laufer. Cherished Zayda of Andrew. Predeceased by his parents and siblings who perished in the Holocaust. Dear brother-in-law of Debbie and the late Bernard Brachfeld, the late Janet and the late Morris Budd. Heartfelt gratitude to Dr. Murray Vasilefsky. Special thanks to the wonderful and caring 3rd floor staff of the Hope Pavilion at the Jewish Eldercare Centre. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W., on Friday, November 24 at 12:00 noon. Burial at the Farband Labour Zionist Organization Cemetery, de la Savane. Shiva to be announced.
