GRANICH, Georgette (Dodi) (nee Auslander) Peacefully in her sleep, at home on Wednesday, June 18, 2014. Wife of the late Naftuli Granich and of the late Ernest Farkas. Treasured mother of Vera (Fredy Sefler), and Annette (Bernard Unikowsky). "Nanny" will be lovingly remembered by her grandchildren, Emily Block (Ryan Cohen), Andrea Unikowsky (Daniel Freiheit), Adam Unikowsky (Andrew Peters). Cherished "Nanny-nanny" of Tyler, and Jayden; Ava, Ezra, and Aiden; Zachary, and Juliet. Beloved aunt of Dan Hartmann. Born in Budapest, Dodi was the eldest daughter of the late Elizabeth Legmann and the late Harry Auslander. Predeceased by her sisters Marta, and Kati. Special thanks to her kind and gentle caregiver Leah Languing, as well as much appreciation to Aileen and Angeline. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W., on Thursday, June 19 at 3:15 p.m. Burial at the Farband Labour Zionist Organization Cemetery, de la Savane. Shiva private.
