MELAMEDIK, Jack Peacefully, on Monday, August 25, 2014, surrounded by his loving family. Beloved husband of the late Rita Riendeau. Dear father to Rita's son, Peter and his family. Son of the late Mania and the late Sanke Melamedik. Jack will be deeply missed by his cousins, Ben and Sonia Finkel, Ksiel and Jennifer Sztundel, Golden and Ed Lerman, and their families. Special thanks to the doctors, nurses and staff on the 4th floor of the Jewish Eldercare Centre, Kastner Pavilion for their exceptional care, compassion and humour. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W., on Wednesday, August 27 at 11 a.m. Burial at the Nusach Hoari Congregation Cemetery, de la Savane.
