FINKELSTEIN, Claire (nee Rabinovitch) Peacefully, on Thursday, October 13, 2011, in her ninety-forth year. Beloved wife of the late Manny. Special mother and mother-in-law of Sheila and Michael Taveroff, Maxine and Harvey Bergman, the late Norman Finkelstein. Treasured and adored Grandma of Wendy Taveroff, Manny and Nellie Taveroff, Jason Taveroff, Batsheva and Shlomo Singer, Mark and Stacey Bergman, Scott Bergman and Cara Rosenbloom. Proud great-grandmother of Jordyn, Cameron, Seren, Cailah-J, Tziporah, Hadassah-Brucha; Hailey, Amanda, Rylee, Kasey and Aubrey. Predeceased by her siblings, Ruth, Dora, Harry, Rose and Moe. Sister-in-law of Doris Gottheil, the late Belle Dworkin, and the late Morty Finkelstein. Claire will be lovingly remembered by her niece and nephew, Sheila and Jerry Silverberg, by her family and many dear friends. Funeral Service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W., on Sunday, October 16 at 11:30 a.m. Burial at the Nusach Hoari Congregation Cemetery, de la Savane. Shiva at her daughter Sheila's home.
