GROSS, Etta (nee Silverman) Peacefully, surrounded by her loving family, on Sunday May 6, 2018, in her eighty-seventh year. Beloved wife of Jerry Gross for sixty-nine years. Loving mother and mother-in-law of Carrie and Morris Charney, Cindy and Freddie Naimer, Bettina and Ian Morris, Ivan and the late Marla (Miller), Pam and Howie Rosenoff. Adored Bubby of Shira Lazar, Ariel, Dov and Maya Charney; Lesley Naimer and Adam Steinberg, Daniel Naimer and fiancee Evelyn Kmec, Stephanie Naimer; Allen and Vanessa Morris, Richard and Lorne Morris; David and Carina Gross, Melissa Gross; Ali and Tyler Rosenoff. Proud Big-Bubby of Jordyn Steinberg; Jacob, Ava and Liz Morris; Zack Charney. Dear sister and sister-in-law of Frances and the late Nordau Silverman, the late Zelda and the late Ben Scharf, the late Naomi Silverman, the late Mark and the late Lilian Silverman, the late David Silverman, the late Clarence and the late Irene Silverman, and sister-in-law of Vinda and the late Danny Gross, the late Diana Lipson-Maislin and the late Ruby Lipson and the late Sydney Maislin. Etta will be fondly remembered by her many nieces, nephews, family and friends. Special thanks to Drs. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean-Talon St. W., on Wednesday, May 9 at 11:00 a.m. Burial at the Montefiore Protective Association Cemetery, de la Savane.
