YOUNG, Rosalind (nee Thau) Peacefully, on Thursday, April 19, 2012 in her ninety-third year. Beloved wife of the late Sam. Daughter of the late Sam and the late Hilda Thau. Loving mother and mother-in-law of Manny and Evelyn, Gerry and Lelia, Steven and Joni. Cherished grandmother of Mark and Joanna, Heather and Larry, Joanna and Marty, Carina and Brian, Joy, Vicky and Jeremy, Sean and Lisa, and Jennifer. Proud great-grandmother of Zack, Charlie, Amanda, Jordan, Matt, Marcus, David, Osher, Eden, Dylan, Cameron, Tyler, and Ashley. Dear sister and sister-in-law of Bill and the late Laurel Thau. Special thanks to her caregivers as well as the staff at the Palliative Care unit of the Jewish General Hospital. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W., on Sunday, April 22 at 12:30 pm. Burial at the Montefiore Protective Association Cemetery, de la Savane. Shiva at the Montefiore Residence, 5885 Cavendish Blvd., Cote St Luc, from 7:00 to 9:00 pm only, ending Monday evening. Donations in her memory may be made to the charity of your choice. |
