COHEN, Evelyn (nee Boxer). After a courageous battle, surrounded by her family, on Wednesday, August 30, 2006. Beloved wife and best friend of Morton. Loving and devoted mother and mother-in-law of Aaron Cohen, and Joel and Leslie Cohen. Cherished Bubby of Elizabeth, Joshua and Tamara. Dear sister and sister-in-law of Laura and Fred Firestone, the late Avi Boxer. Sister-in-law of Sandra and Marvin Granatstein, Eileen and Norman Rosen, Seymour and Cherry Cohen. She will be sadly missed by Donna West, her nieces, nephews, family and all those whose lives she touched. The family would like to thank doctors, nurses and staff of the 3rd Floor ICU of the Jewish General Hospital for their exceptional care and compassion. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W. on Friday, September 1 at 2:15 p.m. Burial at the Montefiore Protective Cemetery, de la Savane. Shiva at 5348 Clarendon, Chomedey Laval.
