WERED, Etta (nee Bernstein) Peacefully, in her eighty-fifth year, on Wednesday, July 22, 2009, at her home with her family by her side. Devoted wife of the late Issie Wered. Loving mother and mother-in-law of Bella, Zvia and Stan, and Michael. Cherished grandmother of Jay, Talya, David, Michael and Costa. Proud great-grandmother of Joshua, Isaac, Annabelle and Jack. Many thanks to the staff at Jewish General Hospital Palliative Care and CLSC Papineau, and to the close family friends who made her final days very comfortable. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W., on Thursday, July 23 at 11 a.m. Burial at the Montefiore Protective Cemetery, de la Savane. Shiva private.
